Chukwuemeka Emmanuel, professionally known as Sabinus, a successful Nigerian comedian and skit maker, has advised bachelors to get rich before marrying.
The comedian took to social media to refute the widely held belief that “blessing comes when one marries” and settles down with his own family.
According to the creator of the skit, the belief that blessings come with marriage is false, and anyone who adopts it in their life will struggle with hunger after marriage.
IIn a video;
“Marriage brings a blessing…” “Na lies, oh! the blessing don’t end.” Make money by hustling before you marry. Hunger during a marriage is a whole other level.”
In response to Sabinus’ advice, a Facebook user named @Amaka stated that marriage is a blessing if the man marries the right woman. She revealed that her marriage is perfect evidence to support her point of view.
“Marriage brings blessings.” I’ve seen a lot of rich guys who became poor after marriage and poor guys who became rich after marriage. Simply pray for the right person to come into your life.
“Mine was, and it continues to be a blessing,” she wrote.
Another Facebook user, @Vanissa, who shared her thoughts, stated that marriage is a God-given blessing that can only be manifested through the man’s source of income. This implies that the benefits of marriage will never be revealed in the life of an idle man.
“The Bible even says, ‘I will bless the works of your hands.'” Marriage brings blessings, but you must be doing something for the blessings to come. Don’t marry an idle mind and expect blessings to fall into your lap… “God is a principle-based God,” she wrote.
“Partially true, don’t go marrying especially when you’re financially struggling, hmm,” another user, Akpa Flora, added. Life is harsh, especially for men. As soon as you marry and have children, you will face the harsh reality of life. My two cents is to pray to God to guide you through the process of decision making, by granting you a soul mate and a woman with potentials. Welcome to the modern world with morden wahala.”
