Afia Schwarzenegger, a radio and television personality, has revealed that Frema Opare, the Chief of Staff, was instrumental in preparing the final rites for her late father.
According to her, the Chief of Staff gave her and her family $50,000 not only for the funeral but also for the transport of her father’s coffin to Ghana.
In an Instagram video, Afia stated that Frema Opare urged her to make known any additional costs the family had to bear so she could assist.
The actress expressed her gratitude to Frema Opare for her enormous contribution, adding that the family may not have to incur any additional expenses.
Afia Schwarzenegger knelt and prayed for the Chief of Staff, thanking her for her efforts in ensuring her father’s funeral was held peacefully.
Meanwhile, the actress revealed in other posts that many people assisted her in giving her father a proper burial.
Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), also made a 4,000 donation at the funeral.
On March 12, 2022, Afia Schwarzengger’s late father was laid to rest at the KNUST in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
A number of dignitaries and celebrities attended the event, including Stacy Amoateng, Tracy Boakye, Brother Sammy, and Opambour, among others.
