Moses Simon, a Nigerian winger, believes the Super Eagles will defeat Ghana’s Black Stars in the second leg of the ongoing World Cup qualifiers in Abuja.
Augustine Eguavon’s men were held to a 0-0 draw in Kumasi last week Friday, leveling the match between the two West African neighbors.
However, Simon, who had the only clear chance in the first leg in Kumasi, believes a draw is a good result, saying “Ghana will take it.” “You’ll see the quality [of the Super Eagles] in tomorrow’s game,” Simon says. Of course, you’ll notice my form, but it’s all about the team,” Simon said at a pregame press conference.
“The boys are working hard, and we will give it our all.” Of course, we all know how difficult it can be.
We know how Ghana plays, so we decided to sit back [for a draw]; a draw was enough for us because we all know they’ll take it when they come here [to Abuja],” he said.
For the sixth time in their history, the Super Eagles are attempting to qualify for the World Cup.
