Ghana’s Black Stars have arrived in Abuja, Nigeria, for the second leg of their FIFA World Cup qualifier playoff.
On Tuesday, Ghana and Nigeria will decide who will qualify and who will have their hopes dashed. The game is scheduled for 5 p.m. tomorrow.
Both teams drew 0-0 last week Friday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, as neither team was able to score.
The Black Stars took to Twitter today to share photos of their departure.
Some Ghanaians were concerned about how the senior national team would be received upon their arrival in Abuja.
This stems from the uneasy manner in which the Nigerian Super Eagles were greeted at Kumasi Airport.
According to a video shared by Nigerian journalist Colin Udoh, the players had no choice but to jump out of their plane because there was no Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB).
