Adegboyega Oyetola, the governor of Osun State, congratulated his wife, Kafayat, on her 62nd birthday and their 39th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, Oyetola described his wife as a role model for girls and women in Osun State and throughout the country.
“Today, I celebrate your humility, your love for people, your passion for humanity, and your kindness toward the larger society, especially the vulnerable, women, and girls, whom you champion through your pet project, the Ilerioluwa Development Initiative,” the statement read in part.
We praise Allah for His divine grace and mercy over the last six decades and two years of your life, as well as for His guidance, direction, and provision since He brought us together 39 years ago. Olaitan, I wish you a happy birthday.”
