The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) zoning committee meeting in Abuja on Tuesday ended inconclusively at the end of a two-week deadline. The PDP has yet to decide where their presidential candidate for 2023 will come from.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP37-member )’s zoning committee, chaired by Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom, has planned another meeting for next week at the same time and location.
While former PDP Vice President Nze Fidelis Ozichukwu, a member of the committee, wants the ticket to be zoned to the South East, some members of the party want the ticket to be open to all six geopolitical zones in the interest of equality and fairness.
