Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will invite Senators from the All Progressives Congress to Iftar on Tuesday evening (breaking of fast).
This was stated in a letter of invitation read in plenary on Monday by Senate President Ahmad Lawan.
Yahaya Abdullahi, the Senate Leader, signed the letter.
On Wednesday, Osinbajo will break the Ramadan fast (Iftar) with members of the All Progressives Congress caucus in the House of Representatives at the Presidential Villa’s Banquet Hall.
At the start of the plenary on Tuesday, Ahmed Wase, the Deputy Speaker of the House, read the Vice-letter President’s to the caucus.
Osinbajo’s invitation came less than 48 hours after he received APC governors at his residence.

Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, resigned as Senator representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District on Tuesday.
Abubakar Kyari, the newly elected Deputy National Chairman (North), resigned as a member representing Borno North District at the same time.
The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, read the resignation letters of both lawmakers during plenary.
Senator Abdullahi Adamu chaired the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development until his election as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.
On the other side, Kyari was the Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Committee (FCT).
