Busayo, Lanre Gentry’s wife, claims that, contrary to popular belief, her husband is no longer concerned about his ex-wife Mercy Aigbe.
“Whatever transpired between them (my husband and Mercy Aigbe) then and now is none of my concern,” she told Saturday Beats. That was a family before mine, and I had no knowledge of them. Besides, we all have our own unique healing methods. What social media fails to recognize is that people only tell you what they want you to know, and my husband does not act randomly. If people believe he hasn’t moved on from Mercy Aigbe, it’s because they believe that.
He is only concerned about his son, and I believe he would not have remarried if he hadn’t gotten over her.”
Busayo, who recently became a mother, said that motherhood had transformed her. “Motherhood has been tough and sweet,” she remarked. When I gaze at my beautiful princess and realize she’s mine, I feel an inexplicable thrill.”
“I feel absolutely nothing about it,” she remarked when asked how she felt about being married to Gentry. I’m still the same person I was previously. I’ve simply shifted into a different social class. It hasn’t altered my identity.
“I met my spouse at a business conference and liked him right away since he was such a ‘free’ person.” He had a clear idea of what he wanted and went after it. I admire people who are clear about their goals. He is always concerned about my development, which is my top focus.”
“I might get into the entertainment industry; I can’t tell now,” she responded when asked if she is interested in it. It would not, however, be movies. In the long term, I’d be showing more of myself in politics. My most recent project will be made public after it is completed.
