Chris Oghojafor, a final year student at Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has been kidnapped by gunmen.
Barr. John Oghojafor, a senior legislative adviser to the Senate Deputy President, is the father of the Industrial Chemistry student.
The victim was kidnapped in the university village of Abraka, Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta state, on Friday night, April 22.
The kidnappers allegedly phoned the victim’s mother and demanded a 50 million naira ransom for his release.
At Delta State University, campus 3 in Abraka, the victim’s father corroborated the claim.
The family had haggled the N50 million ransom requested down to N3 million, according to the lawyer/journalist.
On Friday night, they kidnapped my son.
