Ade Abraham of Christ High Commission Ministry, also known as Royal Christ Assembly, Kaduna State, is making headlines after allegedly persuading his church members to relocate to a camp in Ekiti State with him in order to “prepare for the end of the world,” as well as allegedly charging them N310k to “fly them to heaven.”
Pastor Abraham moved to Ekiti State from Kaduna State, where he was previously stationed, in 2020, according to a church member.
When he returned to Kaduna State in April, he allegedly demanded N310,000 from members of his church before allowing them to accompany him to Omuo-Ekiti, where “the doorway of heaven will open for all of them to enter.”
He allegedly promised his followers that they will all ‘ascend to heaven together from Ekiti’.
According to a source at the news organization,
“My relative has also asked her daughter, who is studying overseas, to return to Nigeria, saying that if she does not, the pastor (Abraham) will force her to do an offense that will land her in prison.”
The assertion was backed up by a Whatsapp conversation between the pastor’s follower and her daughter.
It stated:
Daddy Abraham said I should tell you to come back, that he is the one who makes you to come down to Nigeria, and I was the one who gave you the chance to return back there, that I should also know how you will come back or he will make you to commit an offence over there and they will put you in prison. That he probably send you down so you will achieve your goals.
“Please Elizabeth, if there is how you will help yourself to come back, I will be glad. Don’t let daddy put any one of you in trouble.”
According to the member, Abraham continues to hold Sunday and Wednesday church services.
Added the member:
“We are not returning.” I’m afraid I won’t be able to elaborate.
“From here, we’re going to make rapture.” He told the publication, “We’re heading to a lovely paradise.”
