Despite her British origin, Eku Edewor, an actress and model, has stated that joining Nollywood was not difficult for her.
“I was raised in Nigeria, so it was not a rough transition for me,” she remarked in an interview with Saturday Beats. It’s always been fairly smooth. I believe I contribute to the industry’s diversity.”
“I encountered the same issues that a lot of people face, which was wanting to be seen, wanting to be understood, and wanting to be accepted,” Edewor remarked when asked about the challenge she faced in her early days in the film industry. That, I believe, is the challenge that many people face as individuals.
“Also, a lot of people don’t seem to realize how Nigerian I am, so getting more roles where people can see that aspect of me will be good.”
“Bovi was really hot in the movie, ‘Perfect Arrangement,’ so he may be my Romeo,” the actress stated when asked who she would like to play her Romeo (boyfriend) in a film.
Edewor also recommended anyone involved in a love triangle to break free. “Someone in a love triangle?” she asked. Girl, go out. Being in a love triangle is complicated, so make a choice and stick to it (laughs).”
“I am currently working on a project that is yet to be announced,” she answered when asked what project she is currently working on.
