Victor Osimhen of Nigeria’s Napoli and former teammate Mohamed Salah of Bayern Munich were rivals for the prize, but the newcomer from Bayern Munich prevailed. In a video posted from his camp in Munich, Mané displayed enthusiasm as he thanked his teammates for contributing to his accomplishment.
