According to Corriere dello Sport, Bayern Munich is apparently considering a €120 million offer for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
The 23-year-old Nigerian is viewed by the Bavarians as the perfect alternative for Robert Lewandowski, who is about to leave the Allianz Arena this summer.
Lewandowski, who has one year left on his contract, is eager to join Barcelona, one of the biggest clubs in Spain.
Osimhen has been a standout performer for the Partenopei since his move from Ligue 1 team Lille two years ago. The Partenopei is aware of the interest from other teams, but they are not willing to let him go for anything less than a transfer record-breaking €100m, having signed him for that sum.
The striker, who has three years left on his contract with Napoli, is apparently being pursued by Premier League clubs Arsenal, Manchester United, and Newcastle United.
In 51 league games for the Naples team, the Nigerian scored 24 goals and handed out eight assists.
Osimhen had a productive season last year, making 27 Serie A games, scoring 14 goals and dishing out five assists.

He also scored four goals and provided one assist for Napoli in the Europa League, where they finished third in Serie A with 79 points after 38 games.
When Lewandowski leaves, former Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has pushed Bayern to pursue Osimhen because he won’t need much time to adjust to the Bundesliga.
Victor would be a fantastic replacement if Bayern allowed Robert Lewandowski to leave, Rohr said Sports Bild.
I believe he would win in Munich. His transition period is obviously shorter than with other foreign players because he already has Bundesliga experience and can communicate in a limited amount of German, Rohr continued.
