Destiny Amaka, an actress, has stated that she doesn’t regret moving to Nigeria to further her acting career. She was raised in London, England.
Amaka, a Nigerian-born British citizen who was raised in London, said to Sunday Scoop, “I did not grow up in Nigeria, but I have been a resident here for the past nine years, and I aim to settle down here because I love my nation.
“While I was living abroad, I was interested in TV and radio presenting, but there weren’t many positions available for black individuals in the entertainment sector. I would sometimes be in a room full of so many black girls during auditions when there was only one job available for a person of color.
I wouldn’t have advanced as far in my job if I had been living overseas as I have in Nigeria.
The post was inspired by watching how many Nigerian men work so hard, according to Amaka, who used her Instagram profile to encourage Nigerian men to be tough and complete their obligations.
It takes a lot of strength for the typical Nigerian male to work hard, she remarked. There are young males out there looking for employment.
“Many people must feed their family even when they don’t have work. The post was initiated by the hustling of the typical Nigerian man. It was my way of praising and boosting their spirits.
In addition, the actress argued that, in contrast to Nollywood’s elegance, she constantly cuts her clothing to fit her size for the sake of her mental health.
