A young woman has made the decision to resign from her job so that she can have more time to care for her partner, who she undoubtedly loves more than her job.
The young woman posted on Twitter that she would be willing to go against her better judgment in the sake of love.
I Wanna quit my career and concentrate on taking care of my boyfriend, she wrote.
Since then, her message has stirred up a lot of debate on Twitter.
If her spouse is treating her well, other women advised her to resign from her work.
However, some advised her against giving up because her man might take advantage of her and prevent her from achieving her goals in the near future.
If he’s treating her well, he won’t let her throw away her dreams, a commenter said.
If he’s treating her correctly, he won’t let her give up her dreams, a commenter said in response.
He would encourage her and persuade her to pursue her goals until they were fulfilled.
“Please do, if he’s treating you well please do,” another person remarked.
So what happens the day he stops treating her right? said a Nigerian feminist who was vehemently opposed to her choice.
If she treated him well, would he also cease working?
