Sufiyanu Abubakar Salihu, a Nigerian guy, is being married to Fatima Ibrahim Kani, the young sister of his deceased fiancée, Rukaiya Ibrahim Kani.
According to LIB, Sufiyanu and Rukaiya were scheduled to wed in Bauchi State on August 12, 2022, but she passed unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 27.
On July 28, Sufiyanu also posted on Twitter to mourn Rukaiya’s passing.

A day after her sister’s passing, Fatima wrote to express her sorrow: “Truly, life is fleeting, and death is a definite and final conclusion. Ruqayya Ibrahim Kani, also known as Aunty Ummi, was another sister I lost; she was supposed to get married in two weeks, but she’s now lost for good.
The phrase “Ya Allah kagafarta mata kamata rahama kasa inna mu yazo mucika da imani” is used. Pray for my sister, please.”
Aliyu Ibrahim Kani, the elder sister’s brother, announced on Facebook on August 3 that Sufiyanu and Fatima’s wedding will take place on the same day.
He also gave out the revised invitation card, on which Fatima’s name had been substituted for Rukaiyat’s.
