As Bayern Munich thrashed Eintracht Frankfurt in their season opener, Sadio Mane had a strong debut in the Bundesliga. The league season was started off in style by the German champions, who won 6-1 and scored five goals in the first half.
Just 11 minutes into the match, goals from Joshua Kimmich and Benjamin Pavard gave the Bundesliga champions a 2-0 lead. Just before the half-hour mark, Sadio Mane made it 3-0. The visitors won handily with goals from Jamal Musiala and Serge Gnabry.
At the conclusion of the game, Mane, a former forward for Liverpool, joined the spectators in the stands to celebrate his team’s triumph.
