Adedamola Adefolahan, better known by his stage name Fireboy DML, is a prominent Nigerian singer who has spoken up about his musical style and the themes that drive the majority of his lyrics.
The Peru hitmaker claimed that the majority of the sadness songs on his debut album, Laughter Tears & Goosebumps, were about girls whose hearts he had previously broken. His career has soared since Olamide placed him on.
When interviewed by UK-based broadcaster Adesope Olajide, he offered this surprising remark.
He added that although he usually tells other people’s tales in his love-themed songs, this time around, he is revealing his own in the song Apollo.
Fireboy responded that he was worried and dubious because the album came out after he had just released two songs when Adesope questioned him about if he knew or felt that LTG would be a classic success.
Fireboy added that he used to pray to God for a hit album like Wizkid’s Superstar, an Afrobeats artist.
He added that he once claimed to have lost his mojo and that he would be unable to return to the top, but his boss Olamide backed and inspired him.
