Luis Suarez, a striker for Nacional, believes Uruguay may win the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022.
Le Celeste last finished in the top four in the competition in South Africa in 2010.
At the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, they were defeated by Germany in the third-place playoff, 3-2.
Prior to the 2022 World Cup, Suarez has now stated his trust in the Uruguayan team.
Suarez was quoted by BeIN Sports as saying, “This is generated by Pajarito (Federico Valverde), Darwim (Nunez), Ronald (Araujo), and Rodri (Bentancur).
“The best players in Europe produce this. This award recognizes the job that our nation conducts. Uruguay will always make an effort to compete at their best during the World Cup.
“To strive to advance as far as we can, and why not to win? Because we have the necessary players. We always have a genuine belief, despite the fact that we are aware of the difficulty that every World Cup game represents.
