Erling Haaland of Manchester City has a release clause, and his father Alf-Inge has intimated that he will only be with the team “for three or four years at the most.”
Haaland only relocated to the Etihad Stadium last summer after leaving Borussia Dortmund for £51 million.
The five-year deal the Norwegian international signed with the Premier League champions.
Under Pep Guardiola, Haaland has had an incredible start, scoring 14 goals in 10 games across all competitions.
That might not last for very long, though, as Haaland’s father confirmed that his son might not stay with City for a lengthy amount of time due to his desire to play in each of the top five leagues in Europe.
In response to the film “Haaland: The Big Decision,” he said: “I believe Erling wants to demonstrate his prowess across all leagues. After that, he may only remain at Manchester City for a maximum of three or four years. He may spend, for instance, 2.5 years in Germany, 2.5 years in England, and then 2.5 years each in Spain, Italy, and France, am I correct?
