Erling Haaland, Manchester City’s goal-machine, has been described as “not human” by goalkeeper Kamil Grabara of Copenhagen.
After the Norwegian scored his second goal in Wednesday’s Champions League rout of Copenhagen at the Etihad, Jack Grealish of England reported that Grabara had shouted this.
On Wednesday night, Manchester City beat the Danish team 5-0 with two more goals from Haaland.
For Pep Guardiola’s team, the 22-year-old has now scored 19 goals in his first 12 outings.
Grealish, an English forward, told reporters after the game, “It’s astonishing honestly,” of Haaland.
“I’ve never witnessed anything like it in my life. For the first and second goals, I was just laughing. He is always there.
“The keeper [Kamil Grabara] said something to me as I was walking back. He said, ‘he’s not human!’ I said ‘you’re telling me?’ Hopefully he can carry on this form and take us to glory.”
