Jamie Carragher, a former Liverpool defender, has insisted that Jurgen Klopp won’t be fired from the team.
Arsenal, who lead the Premier League, are already 14 points ahead of Liverpool.
Only two of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp’s team’s first eight games have ended in victories, which has forced Klopp to declare Liverpool’s title challenge over.
Their performance has sparked rumors about Klopp’s future at Anfield.
When asked if it might reach the point where Klopp is about to lose his job, Carragher responded, “No, it won’t get there. I believe Liverpool is unique. It is not unique to Liverpool, but what he has been doing for the club for seven years is perhaps fairly unusual in football.
“Klopp is a god at Liverpool and the day he goes – whenever that will be, and I hope that is in four years – the whole city and Liverpool supporters worldwide will come to a standstill.”
