Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has declared that he will have a strong squad for their Europa League group match against Omonia on Thursday.
The game is the beginning of a pivotal stretch for United.
In the course of seven days, Ten Hag’s side play Newcastle, Tottenham, and Chelsea.
But the Dutchman has declared that he would field a powerful lineup against Omonia because of their competition with Real Sociedad for first place in Group E.
The Europa League’s group winners this season will skip the round of 32 and advance directly to the round of 16.
“We will go all out for the victory,” Ten Hag said.
“The first game is always the most important. It’s Europe, it’s tough, we want to be No.1 in the group, so we have to win the game.
“I told the players weeks ago before the break it is important to get No.1 in this group, that will be our aim.”
