Erling Haaland’s absence from the 2022 World Cup has been called “unfortunate” by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.
Haaland won’t be competing in the event because Norway didn’t make it.
The preparations Guardiola has for the individuals of his team who will be left behind when Qatar 2022 begins have finally been made public.
“Maybe for ten days or two weeks we will go off and be with family then come back.
“Then two weeks to reignite our rhytmn after the World Cup.
“Erling would prefer to go to the World Cup with Norway but unfortunately he cannot go. But two years there’s the Euros and now he can focus on his club,” Guardiola said.
