After Gabriel Martinelli and Oleksandr Zinchenko skipped training on Wednesday, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has allayed concerns over the duo.
On Thursday night in the Europa League, the Gunners host PSV Eindhoven.
Following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, the matchup was moved from its initial start date at the beginning of September.
Following three victories in their first three games, Arsenal is presently leading Group A, with PSV trailing by only two points.
Three points at the Emirates would go a long way toward securing first place, but Martinelli and Zinchenko’s absences from training suggest that Arsenal may be dealing with some injury difficulties ahead of the game.
When asked if the pair will not be participating in the match on Thursday, Arteta responded, “No, they are not ruled, but we will see tomorrow what we decide.”
