Marcus Rashford, a forward for Manchester United, has asked the team’s supporters to show Christian Eriksen their appreciation after the Danish international assisted the England star’s 100th goal for the Red Devils.
After scoring the lone goal in Man United’s 1-0 Premier League victory over West Ham United the previous Saturday, Rashford accomplished the feat.
Eriksen assisted the 25-year-old with his goal against West Ham, which was a strong header.
Rashford’s goal gave him his 100th for the team, moving him up to joint 20th on the all-time list of Man United goal scorers.
On the other hand, on Tuesday, Rashford urged his Twitter fans to thank Eriksen for the help.
”I know a lot has been said about me scoring that header for my 100th club goal but can we take a moment to appreciate the ball from Christian Eriksen,” Rashford said.
