Ergut Sogut, the agent for Mesut Ozil, has insisted that the midfielder will never play for another English team.
After a dispute with Mikel Arteta, the 34-year-old departed Arsenal in January 2021 and signed for Fenerbahce.
Sogut has maintained that his departure wasn’t as contentious as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s.
He claims that is the reason Aubameyang has come back to play for Arsenal’s London rivals, Chelsea, in England.
He could never play for another English team, according to Sogut, who also told Tribal Football that he is not like Aubameyang.
“He loved his time at Arsenal and is still in contact with several players, not least (Bukayo) Saka, with whom he has a close relationship,” said one player.
Currently, Istanbul Basaksehir in Turkey has Ozil on its roster.
