Mbappe mentioned his PSG teammate, Lionel Messi’s long-time rival Cristiano Ronaldo as his football idol.
This was stated by the 23-year-old in a TikTok video that the France squad released before the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022.
In a brief video, the France international was questioned on a variety of topics, one of which being who his favorite football player was.
Mbappe responded, “Cristiano Ronaldo,” without hesitation.
When asked to name his favorite teammate, Mbappe was hesitant and responded that he had a lot of possibilities.
On the field for PSG this year, Mbappe and Messi have developed a strong bond.
