Cristiano Ronaldo, according to former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand, has played his final match for the team.
Following his shocking interview with Piers Morgan, Ferdinand claimed there was no turning back for the 37-year-old on Vibe with Five.
Ronaldo asserted in the interview that United had misled him and that he had no regard for Erik ten Hag as manager.
“You cannot defend that on behalf of Cristiano Ronaldo from here.
“Deep down, I know for a fact that this has all been staged to get him kicked out of the club. Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United’s romance is officially gone.
“I don’t believe there is a way out. I don’t believe the club will accept him back, and I also don’t believe he wants to return; I believe that is a given.
Ferdinand remarked, “I played with several players who achieved considerably less than this and never again wore the shirt.
