Cristiano Ronaldo, a forward for Manchester United, has spoken out after his tense encounter with Piers Morgan.
The 37-year-old made it apparent that he does not respect manager Erik ten Hag and said he was misled by the Red Devils.
The Premier League team replied with a succinct statement that indicated they were weighing their options.
In preparation for the 2022 World Cup, Ronaldo, who was absent from United’s 2-1 victory at Fulham, is currently practicing with Portugal’s national side.
He has since posted on Instagram to say that the next tournament in Qatar is the only thing on his mind.
Ronaldo wrote: “Total and absolute focus on National Team work. United group, towards one objective: realize the dream of all Portuguese people!”
