According to former Manchester United defender Gary Neville, the team is aware that Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract must be terminated.
Following his vehement criticism of the team and manager Erik ten Hag, he stated to Sky Sports that there is “no way back” for Ronaldo at Old Trafford.
Despite being criticized by Ronaldo himself during his TalkTV interview with Piers Morgan, Neville stated he has nothing against the star.
If he wanted a way out, he wouldn’t have agreed to this interview.
I’m curious as to what Manchester United is doing given that they are aware they must void Cristiano’s contract. Or, they essentially set a precedent that allows any player to criticize them in the future, according to Neville.
Neville continued by saying that he had nothing against Ronaldo personally but disagreed with the timing of the interview.
