Bose Akinola, a well-known Nollywood actress, has been elected as the organization’s new governor for the state of Oyo in Nigeria (TAMPAN).
Rose Odika, an actress who served in office for eight years, would be replaced by Akinola, who received 113 votes to win the election for a four-year term.
On Friday, her coworker and best friend, actress Rukayat Lawal, released a video of the vote results and the celebration of Akinola’s victory on her Instagram page.
