Karim Benzema, a striker for Real Madrid, will not re-join France’s team before the 2022 World Cup championship game.
Despite being forced to withdraw from the competition prior to kickoff due to injury, Benzema is still listed among the 26-man roster for Les Bleus.
Following his recovery, there has been discussion of the current Ballon d’Or winner playing against Argentina on Sunday.
But according to Ok Diario, Benzema won’t even go to Qatar to support the team.
Real Madrid has given Benzema permission to travel if he so chooses, but he is not considering it.
It is rumored that Didier Deschamps, the head coach of France, and Benzema do not get along well.
The player believes that Deschamps got rid of him as soon as he had the opportunity.
Although Benzema had not completely recovered from his muscle soreness in the first training session, the coach nonetheless extended an invitation for him to leave.
