Sofyan Amrabat of Morocco has been dubbed the greatest midfielder at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup by French President Emmanuel Macron.
After the game on Wednesday, the French President applauded the midfielder in front of the Moroccan team.

The team led by Didier Deschamps made history by reaching back-to-back World Cup finals for the first time since Brazil in 1962.
Morocco, on the other hand, made history by becoming the first country from Africa to reach the World Cup semifinals.

During the tournament in Qatar, Amrabat was equally as crucial to the Atlas Lions as players like Hakim Ziyech and Sofiane Boufal.
The player’s abilities were noted by Macron, an avid supporter of football, who dubbed him “the best midfielder of the tournament.”
