Les Bleus defeated the Africans with goals from Theo Hernandez and Randal Kolo Muani, setting up a matchup with the Lionel Messi-led Albiceleste.
Argentina defeated Croatia 3-0 thanks to goals from Messi, who has been outstanding throughout the competition.
The Argentine skipper has so far contributed three assists along with five goals.
However, France’s Hernandez claimed he was unafraid of playing the seven-time Ballon d’Or victor.
Instead, the French defender pointed out how evenly matched Lionel Scaloni’s entire squad is.
The Atletico Madrid defender told RAI: “Messi doesn’t scare us, we know Argentina has an incredible team. We need to recover well to be at our best on Sunday.”
