On the other hand, Abde Ezzalzouli’s Morocco team was unable to repeat the victories they had over Spain and Portugal in the previous stages. They simply weren’t as effective defensively and had conceded to Theo Hernandez’s opening goal.
The North African nation struggled to have much of an influence as Kounde and company held onto their relative strength. The right-back position of the young player has been crucial to France’s success in this World Cup.
