French forward Kylian Mbappe has received praise from Brazilian icon Ronaldo Nazario for his performance at the just finished Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Ronaldo added that Mbappe reminds him of his best performances and that the Paris Saint-Germain player is adept at utilizing open areas.
Mbappe made an impression at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, where he finished with the most goals.
The former Monaco player was awarded the World Cup Golden Boot in Qatar after scoring eight goals.
Speaking about which player from the France side impressed him the most, the former Real Madrid striker told Brazilian website Apostagolos: “Kylian Mbappe, of course. From the opening match to the World Cup championship, he played superbly.
“He was decisive every time, with deft assists, even when he didn’t score, whether it was against England in the quarterfinals or Morocco in the semifinals. He was great in the championship, scoring four goals (including the penalty shootout).
In fact, he makes me think of my proudest memories when I watch him perform. He is adept at taking advantage of open areas, being unpredictable both on and off the ball, and escaping one-on-one encounters. He is remarkable.
