Casemiro, 30, moved to Manchester United from Real Madrid last summer for a fee of €70 million.
Since breaking into Erik ten Hag’s starting XI, Casemiro has prevented players like Scott McTominay from making the Red Devils’ first squad.
With 22 appearances and two goals, the former Real Madrid defensive midfielder is now a crucial part of the United team.
“He [Casemiro]needed a few weeks to adjust to the Premier League, and now he is the captain of the Manchester United midfield, helping his defense become less exposed while at the same time still having the bravery to go forward and score some goals,” Rivaldo said to Betfair.
