Peter Obi, a presidential candidate for the Party (LP), claimed that if elected, young people will no longer be forced to flee Nigeria (japa).
He pledged to put measures into effect that would safeguard young people’s futures.
At the party’s campaign gathering on Thursday in Ado-Ekiti, the state’s capital, Obi made the commitment.
The former governor of Anambra State swore to eradicate poverty, corruption, and instability.
Obi promised to monitor the unemployment rate to make sure graduates land well-paying jobs.
“Under my leadership, this nation will transition from consumption to production.”
He continued, “Our youths will be adequately cared for and won’t be leaving for greener pastures any longer.”
