According to Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, his administration would produce no less than 20,000 MW of electricity in four years if elected in the upcoming election.
Obi revealed this on Sunday at the Daily Post-reviewed Channels TV show “The People’s Townhall 2023.”
He declared, “We will be able to create and distribute not less than 20,000MW within four years.”
According to the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission’s most recent quarterly report, the twenty-six electricity power generation companies, or GenCos, produced 4,712.34MW of electricity in the first quarter of 2022.
