Veteran British journalist Piers Morgan has asked that Erik ten Hag, the head coach of Manchester United, apologize to Cristiano Ronaldo for disrespecting him.
Ten Hag was instructed by Morgan to apologize to Ronaldo on his knees for disrespecting the 37-year-old while he was a player at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo abruptly left Manchester United in November of last year after both parties decided to end their contractual relationship.
Prior to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022, the captain of Portugal sat down with Morgan and offered a critical review of his time playing for Ten Hag.
Ronaldo alleged that the former Ajax boss had humiliated him when he refused to make a late substitution against Tottenham this season.
If Man United had a great season, would he apologize to Ten Hag for remarks he has made about the Dutchman’s treatment of Ronaldo?
Morgan responded to talkSPORT: “Absolutely not. I expect Ten Hag to get down on bended knees and apologise to Cristiano Ronaldo for the shocking disrespect he has shown him.”
