Ayoze Perez, a Spanish forward, is expected to leave Leicester City and join Villarreal.
According to Superdeporte, the former Newcastle United player will join the La Liga team.
Despite Nicolas Jackson’s unsuccessful transfer to Bournemouth, Villarreal’s intention to sign the 29-year-old remained the same.
Jackson was close to joining the Premier League team, but the deal fell through because Bournemouth’s medical staff thought his return from a hamstring injury wouldn’t be until March 10.
