Pedri is already regarded as one of the top players in the world at his position, according to Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez.
On Saturday, Pedri scored the game-winning goal as Barca defeated Girona to earn their eighth victory in the previous nine games, marking his 100th appearance for the La Liga leaders.
“Pedri is a differential. He looks between the lines and attacks the spaces. Add goals to that and we are talking about one of the best midfielders in the world at 20 years old.
“Pedri has to improve his final pass and become braver. But yes Frankie and Gavi need to improve that too,” Barcauniversal quoted Xavi as saying.
In 18 league appearances for Barcelona so far this year, Pedri has scored five goals.
After 18 games, Xavi’s team leads La Liga with 47 points.
