Thomas Muller, a star midfielder for Bayern Munich, claimed that his teammates were taken aback by Marcel Sabitzer’s decision to join Manchester United on loan from the Bundesliga winners.
Muller said that Sabitzer’s time at Bayern Munich is not over and that he will return there when his loan agreement with Man United expires at the end of the current campaign.
When the January transfer window opened, Sabitzer, who had trouble getting playing time at Bayern Munich, just joined Manchester United on loan.
“The team was surprised,” Muller told Kicker about Sabitzer’s late move to Man United.
“It happened very quickly. I am happy for Sabi that he’s moving to Manchester United, and getting the chance to play there. Manchester is a huge name.”
He added, “He will be back in the summer. The chapter is not over yet.
