Manchester United has been advised to give up on trying to win the Premier League this year.
This came after the Red Devils’ 2-2 draw with Leeds United on Wednesday at Old Trafford.
After 55 minutes, Eric ten Hag’s team was down 2-0 but managed to rally thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho to save a point.
And Sunderland veteran Micky Gray was dissatisfied, believing that the Old Trafford owners were not yet prepared for the serious business because they were outplayed by Leeds.
He admitted to talkSPORT, “That is as terrible as I’ve seen them play all season.”
“Forget about Manchester United pursuing a Premier League title because they have weaknesses outside of their strongest XI and players who shouldn’t really be at this football club still play for them. You’ve seen it this evening.
“It was just not a performance tonight; in the first hour of the game, they looked pretty unsteady. The rest of the season will see progress from Manchester City and Arsenal.
