Before he (Zidane) could return as the club’s manager, the French manager has told Real Madrid president Florentino Perez one needs to meet.
Sport reports that the Frenchman would only consider going back to Santiago Bernabeu if Perez agreed to sign Rayan Cherki.
The manager and former player for Real Madrid are eager to collaborate with the French sensation.
Perez claims Zidane informed him that if Rayan Cherki’s acquisition was ensured, he would return to the club as Carlo Ancelotti’s replacement.
Cherki, a dynamic forward, is regarded as one of the most interesting young players in European football right now, and Zidane is a major fan.
Despite the fact that the seasoned manager guided Los Blancos to glory in the La Liga and Champions League last season, Ancelotti’s future at the Spanish giants is uncertain.
In the league, Real Madrid is in second place, eight points behind Barcelona, their bitter rival.
