Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has declared that no matter how the ongoing inquiry into their finances turns up, the Premier League titles they have already won cannot be taken away from them.
From 2009 to 2018, City was charged with more than 100 financial rule violations.
They now risk losing the three titles they won over that time span and being kicked out of the league.
However, Guardiola has asserted that no matter how the probe turns up, City’s prior successes cannot be forgotten.
“In the end, always we leave thinking about what other people think about us.
“Forget about it. Think about what we have done. No one can remove it,” Guardiola was quoted as saying by British media on Saturday.
