Southampton, a Premier League club, fired Nathan Jones as manager and Chris Cohen and Alan Sheeha as first-team coaches on Sunday. This was made public on the website.
However, the English team revealed that Southampton’s First Team Lead Coach Rubén Sellés would take the reins for their upcoming Premier League matchup versus Chelsea.
Less than 24 hours have passed since their 2-1 loss to the Wolves on Saturday.
The statement read, “Southampton Football Club can confirm it has parted company with Men’s First Team Manager Nathan Jones.
“First Team Lead Coach Rubén Sellés will take charge of training and prepare the team ahead of next weekend’s game against Chelsea.”
