Victor Osimhen of the Super Eagles has received praise from Brazilian icon and former Napoli attacker Antonio Careca.
The international player from Nigeria has consistently scored goals for Napoli of Italy.
Careca, who claimed to see Pele-like qualities in Osimhen, was drawn to the striker after he scored an outstanding goal against AS Roma late last month.
Careca said the following about Osimhen’s strike against Roma under Jose Mourinho: “In the goal scored against Roma, I saw something comparable to Pelé.
He was dominant with the ball, the defender, and the goal. There is everything, including skill, malice, and strength, in that desire.
For Napoli this season, Victor Osimhen has made 16 starts and scored 17 goals.
