Nigerians are more interested in dating apps than anyone from any other country in the globe, according to Google search statistics.
The nation has held the top spot in the global search rankings for the term “online dating applications” since 2004.
Ghana, which placed second globally, came after Nigeria. Third place went to the Philippines, which was followed by Jamaica and Kenya in fourth and fifth, respectively.
According to the most recent Google data, Nigeria is now the #1 nation looking for love in 2023. Given that Valentine’s Day is now observed on an international scale, Google reported that searches for “the origin of valentine” have grown by 200% over the previous week.
The data also reveals a 300% increase in searches for “valentine texts for boyfriend” and a 250% increase in searches for “valentine hairstyle” in the previous week.
Google also revealed that “the origin of Valentine” saw a 200% increase while “the finest dating app in the world” saw a 250% increase. In the last week, searches for “best valentine’s gift for girlfriend” and “Valentine’s gift ideas for him in Nigeria” both increased by 120%.
Nigerians are looking for Valentine’s Day ideas as well as answers to Valentine’s Day-related questions.
